Heard an interview with her yesterday (Sunday 3/1/09, listen here). I normally hate interviews with musicians, but she was truly charming. It was a pleasure to listen to her speak.

The interviewer called attention to a line in a song on the new album: "I do my best, but I'm made of mistakes." It's a beautiful line, and her response to his questions was (at the risk of sounding repetitive) truly charming.

I've said it before and will again: She's a class act. I was charmed by her when during a performance at the tractor tavern in Ballard, WA she was heckled for being from Tacoma, and how Tacoma smelled (pulp mill).
Said Neko: "You know nothing, sir, that smell is from Fife."

And it is.
